Cookware can be a significant investment and you want to make sure it will perform well and last. This is especially true when you’re purchasing a full set, which you may be using on an everyday basis for years. We put 10 sets to the test to determine which ones are worth your money.
The set to buy: Made In
If you’re looking for a stainless steel set that will perform as advertised, this one is the best value we found in our tests. It earned high marks for even heating, easy handling and durability. We also liked the flared pouring lips and interior measurements that make it easy to fill and see. You’ll likely see this set on Instagram ads or on the stoves of influencers like Mindy Kaling, who frequently uses it in her cooking videos.
Who this is good for: Anyone who wants a durable, even-heating set that will look great on their stovetop. The price tag is a little higher than some of our other favorites, but it’s still a great deal for the quality you get.
This set from Sardel easily melds form and function with its Italian design and five-ply construction, but it wasn’t as great as the other three sets we tested in terms of even heating and ease of handling. It’s also not compatible with induction burners. But if you’re a sucker for branding and are willing to pay more for style, this is the set for you.
